Glenville - Hamlet of Greenwich, Connecticut
Glenville is a 33.9 acre hamlet founded in the 1770s with in the town of Greenwich, Connecticut. It's an example of a New England mill village with its mill and mill-pond dam powering the old water wheel.
The 1790's mill was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.
Decommissioned in 1970, today the classic brick Mill building houses restaurants, office space and housing.
Its pond is still a serene place to sit and enjoy the water fall over the old dam.
